Alix Lynx
Alix Lynx is an AVN award-winning adult actress, artist, content creator and entrepreneur.
In 2014, after receiving her MBA, Alix quit the 9-5 work week lifestyle for good, opting to leave her career as a public relations and marketing executive behind to move from her home in New York to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an adult actress. It all began with a simple Google search, “how to be a porn star.”
In 2015, Alix’s unique story sparked interest in Cosmopolitan Magazine, resulting in the story going viral overnight with over 500 stories from 60+ countries around the world including Playboy, Esquire, Maxim, etc.
In addition to both starring in scenes for some of the biggest studios in adult entertainment and producing hundreds of her own, Alix has made it a part of her personal mission to challenge the status quo when it comes to the acceptance and integration of sex workers in the traditional working world.
Since the inception of her career in 2015, Alix has been widely considered an “OG” when it comes to the art of self-promotion and community building, deviating drastically from the practices that were considered the “norm” in the adult entertainment world during that time. Alix immediately recognized the value in using mammoth adult tube sites as a tool to build her fan base, an opinion that was not a popular one in the adult industry during that time.
While other talent and producers would publicly vilify these sites for “stealing content” without understanding how the business model worked, Alix went the opposite direction and began posting her scenes for free onto Pornhub and other similar adult tube sites, leading to hundreds of millions of views (as well as an ever-growing fan base) just from her own contributions to the platforms.
In addition, Alix started as an early adopter of Snapchat in 2016, yet contrary to her peers who were offering paid subscriptions to their private x-rated adult accounts, Alix yet again took a completely different approach. With a focus on reach and connection, Alix made her Snapchat account free and public, choosing to showcase her personality and day-to-day life. This resulted in hundreds of thousands of followers, which she then used the platform to convert those followers into paying fans.
Alix was an early adopter of Onlyfans in 2017, and upon joining the platform, quickly recognized the potential of the financial benefits the platform could provide for performers. In turn, Alix began tapering off her paid studio bookings and put her majority focus instead into producing studio-quality scenes for her fans, with the intention of creating a massive library of self-owned content that would hold resale value indefinitely.
In 2020, Alix hit the “pause” button on studio work to work on her production company and content creation full time, which is still a major focus of hers to this day.
Alix’s mindset for business, marketing, public relations, and a strong appetite for learning and personal development has led her to blazing her own trail in the world. Outside of starring in and producing scenes, Alix has equally consistently turned heads from her involvement in projects and ventures both in and outside of the adult industry.
From being a brand ambassador of webcam and crypto platform Sugarbounce to collaborating with adult toy company Doc Johnson to producing custom-molded sex toys for her fans to being a key player behind the scenes (and sometimes in front of the camera) of viral PR stunts such as “Cherie DeVille for President 2020” alongside Coolio and adult webcam site CamSoda’s 24 hour “Pole Dance Marathon,” as well as Pornhub music videos such as “Bust” with Waka Flocka Flame, to doing marketing consulting for major adult entertainment platforms to creating a 3D AI scan of herself to incorporate into the world’s first “Onlyfans meets Sims-esque” interactive dating video game, Alix has made her own unique imprint in the world of adult entertainment.
Alix has also put her marketing brain to work behind the scenes on numerous promotional projects such as brand activations and sponsored events with sports gambling company Bovada as well as participated in brand collaborations with companies such as maude, Honey Birdette, Nua Swim, IQBar, Cornbread Hemp CBD, Matchabar, Jardin Las Vegas and more. To boot, Alix is also responsible for creating electronic music production duo Fancy Monster alongside her brother and touring the nation playing shows.
Alix has embraced her natural ability as both an artist and entrepreneur to truly forge her own path in the world while challenging stigma and inspiring others to do the same.
